6wd pinzgauer 712m overland truck gbp8,500
Pinzgauer 712 Army Ambulance purchased and converted in the UK, then driven from London to Cape Town through West and Central Africa in 2007. An ideal vehicle for similar future travels or just UK cruising. Similar size to a long-wheel based landrover, but big enough to live in without the need for cumbersome roof-tents and endless packing and unpacking of gear (as in standard Landrover/Landcruiser overland vehicle designs). We loved the space & flexibility this vehicle gave us, living in some of the most difficult African environments. Great for mud or desert terrain, mountain piste and jungle driving. Check out our overland website www.pinzgauer-overland,co,uk to read about the adventures we had in the truck (almost lost it twice: over a mountain piste in Morocco and in the jungles of Cameroon, plus rolled it on it's side in the Congo!). More truck specs, photo's and Pinz info can be found there also. We're still in love with our vehicle after putting it through some extreme challenges on the trip, but due to our new arrival (A.K.A. Ollie Leonard), we are having to sell.

PRESENT VEHICLE STATUS:
The truck arrived back in the UK in March and was driven on trade plates from Felixstowe up to our home in Whitchurch. Whilst the truck is running well it needs tidying up and a good overhall before the next big adventure. www.pinzgauer-overland.co.uk
