Our client is a leading Financial Services company positioned as a shared service centre, who are responsible for FX operations, cash management and financial risk management services for their world wide clients.
Due to a newly created vacancy following a internal restructure and increased volume business operations they are now looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join their busy accounting team.
Duties include:
Overview and support of inter-company trade AP & AR activities
Monitor electronic invoice transfer into SAP
Manual booking of invoices, various trade reconciliation, clearing & analysis
Intercompany month end reporting
Intercompany settlements
Review of third pary AP invoices
Check & review of balance sheet reconciliations
PL account analysis, mid month and during month end reporting cycle
Involvement
Plus various other ad hoc accounting duties
The ideal candidate will ideally need to be a graduate in either a business or finance orientated degree with at least 1 years experience working in a finance department.
Have a good understanding of accounting transactions, double entry book keeping and reconciliation
Strong Excel skills including use of filters, pivot tables, vlookups etc
