Project Manager Retail
Project Manager / Implementation Manager (MUST HAVE RETAIL experience) - PMP, PRINCE2, Retail, EPOS, Fast Lane, Self service checkouts- to work for a major, global retail store systems software hardware solutions provider, facing off to external clients, delivering full life cycle projects - initiation-planning-execution-closure. Working closely with the solutions team (sales, business analyst and technical consultant), you will be helping to scope and define projects, put together business cases and deliver successful bids. The main remit of your role will be the delivery of solutions through the development life cycle, testing, piloting and implementation - rollout into the live client environment. We are therefore looking for a Project Manager with good commercial, external client relationship and financial management skills, as well as strong full life cycle project management abilities, within the retail space to include excellent understanding of planning, scoping, gathering requirements, managing risks issues, instilling a strong change and communication culture and creating a good project structure and control in order to achieve successful delivery. You will need to be able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach and have a thorough, methodical understanding of project management. What is essential is retail, EPOS, or Self checkout experience. This is a contract role, but our client will consider permanent opportunities. The role will be based in London.
