Details of role:
As a VP / AD in the Corporate Finance and MA advisory practice, the successful candidate will:
Quickly assume significant responsibilities for clients, industries and the firm's business functions
Work as an integral part of the deal team in direct daily collaboration with the MDs and Principals as well as experts from other areas within the firm
Manage financial analyses, including valuations, and relevant industry research
Assess the impact of transactions on client and counterparty financial results and capital structures
Participate in and lead due diligence sessions
Structure transactions, help formulate and deliver advice to clients and close deals
Undertake, and be rewarded directly for, entrepreneurial opportunities within the firm
Help to develop new business, prepare and participate in client presentations, and market new products
Travel globally. Develop lasting relationships with firm executives and senior client executives
Stimulating environment of teamwork and sharing that still allows for individual achievement, without the political and bureaucratic barriers of a big bank

About the ideal Candidate
Experience:
at least 5 years experience in the MA department of a global investment bank (e.g. Morgan Stanley) or a leading boutique
Skills and Qualifications:
University degree (Honours preferred), possibly MBA (US school preferred)
Highly numerate and proven aptitude and enthusiasm for conducting detailed financial and strategic analyses and modeling you must be extremely accurate, imaginative AND fast.
Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Attracted to the challenge of an entrepreneurial environment with strong direct responsibility and reward for tangible results.
German and/or French language skills are highly valued.
