Hey there!
Desire a hassle-free, gay/women friendly removal service, 24/7? I give you my word to be there when we agree is the best time for YOU, be calm, cool and collected and will not balk at however large (2 bed) or small move (studio, one-off items, IKEA, etc)you may have.
Text, ring or email for an estimate or booking - spur of the moment or a month from now in London or in the UK, it's all cool!
Adventurous, willing to accept the challenges, will go the extra mile and get your worldly belongings to your new home in the same condition as you originally found them. American and Brazilian team (read perfectionist and hard-working)!
I relise the stress moving home can be - its the no 3 on the top 3 most stressful experiences in ones life.
Some tips to avoid the removal stress -
- give yourself plenty of time to pack and sort out unwanted, unused itmes - yes are you really going to read that book, wear that item of clothing youve been hanging onto forever, or keeping that unwanted gift from last chrimbo? Hint: Have a friend there who knows you well or perhaps even a new friend - having them asking you about what things count could save you time and extra boxes.
- the more organised you are the quicker the moe will go - medium sized boxes work better then larger boxes (removal guys have backs to look after as well) so empty all chests, drawers, trunks, etc and pack medium sized.
- be flexible with your removal time - removals happen 24/7 and if you can be open minded to the possibilities then theyll be less stress if you have a flexible moving agenda.
- boxes, boxes, boxes - my favourite place to get boxes and packing materials (bubble wrap tissue even the classic tea chests!) is in South London - J Hunnex and Sons, 35 Parkhouse Street, London, SE5 7TQ - Tel 020 7703 3439 and they have a website - www.boxeasy.co.uk if you do speak to Sheila or Graham tell them Danny (American) sent you, thanks!
- another possibility is freecyle, banana boxes at yr local supermarket, retail outlet, etc....
- when in doubt or not much time or dosh - the plastic bag can fill wonders - books, cds, toiletries, bin bags for the larger items (preferably soft items - bedding, clothing, cut a lil hole in the middle of the bottom of a black rubbish bag and viola! A wardrobe bag!
More tips soon, Any questions? Please don;t hesitate to ask!
Happy Packing and Good Luck whoever you decide to hire with helping your removal.
All the very best
