HR Assistant, Personnel Admin


This is a superb admin opportunity for an IT literate jobseeker with an interest in HR / Personnel and good communication skills to join this popular and friendly SW1 based not-for-profit organisation. Assisting the HR Manager with the smooth running of the Personnel Department, you'll gain some excellent experience in all areas of personnel including recruitment, training, benefits administration, starter and leaver administration etc! Based within walking distance from Victoria Station with working hours 9.30am ? 5.30pm.

Essential requirements for this HR Assistant / Personnel Admin role include:

Good Word, Excel and Outlook skills
Pref knowledge of Access although training can be given
A'level standard education
Some good admin experience
Interest in HR
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
Friendly, warm and approachable personality
Appreciation of confidentiality

Key areas of responsibility within this HR Assistant / Personnel Admin role include:

Arranging interviews
Liaising with Recruitment Consultancies
Advertising vacancies and updating the website
Liaising with candidates
Creating and monitoring a spreadsheet training plan
Carrying out training course booking procedures
Maintaining accurate absence records
Ordering business cards
Setting up new starter files and closing down leaver files
Pension Scheme and Private Health Insurance admin
Administering Childcare vouchers
Handling all incoming departmental post
Ordering stationery
Monitoring temporary staff and costs
Maintaining the personnel database
