The Role
KNOWLEDGE Banking industry and IFRS experience is desirable and a recognised relevant professional qualification and consolidation experience in a complex environment is essential. EXPERIENCE The incumbent should be a qualified accountant with at least 8 years post qualification experience, with evidence of ability to manage a team. SKILLS Task orientated evidencing the ability to resolve issues The incumbent should have an awareness of developments in accounting and regulatory environment and practical consolidation experience is essential Have strong spreadsheet skills Have the ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems and queries and to question and challenge existing procedures. Be a self starter/motivated - ability to work with minimum supervision with attention to detail Have ability and confidence to deal with senior management, together with good oral and communication skills Be able to work to strict deadlines, under pressure and be a team player Keen to learn/ask questions/progress
Salary & Benefits
£70,000-£80,000 basic salary + car allowance + bonus
