Officer, Risk Management and Risk Control, GTFG
OVERALL JOB OBJECTIVE:
To assist in the general running of the Risk Management and Risk Control Department
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Maintaining accurate records of all facility review dates, outstanding covenants/undertakings, receipt of fees, outstanding conditions precedent/subsequent, receipt of documentation and any other relevant aspects of each facility.
2. Ensure general smooth operation of all facilities with emphasis on compliance with approved terms and conditions, informing Head of Risk Management and Risk Control and Account Managers of any deviation from approved facility terms.
3. Notifying participants in led facilities of all relevant information regarding their participations and ensuring the general smooth running of the relationship.
4. Liaising with Loans Admin Department to ensure that the GTFG loan portfolio is administered diligently.
5. Instructing payments/receipt of funds to the bank's pay and receive agent and following up on any issues arising.
6. Maintain commodity price records on a daily and/or weekly basis
7. Maintaining safekeeping files and relevant electronic records.
8. The position will offer the potential to a suitable candidate, showing relevant aptitude, to expand their responsibility into a legal documentation checking role.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The activities detailed above will require the job holder to:
1. Liaise with customers, agent banks and participant banks (in agented facilities), regarding outstandings, general facility performance, covenants, fees etc. to ensure general smooth operation of each facility.
2. Work closely with other members of the Risk Management & Risk Control team.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE FUNCTION
1. 2 to 3 years relevant loans administration experience within an international banking institution.
2. A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
3. A high degree of accuracy
4. Should be a good team player, have a flexible approach to work and be willing to expand relevant knowledge and experience with a view to taking on extra responsibilities within the Risk Management and Risk Control Department and potentially becoming involved in a legal documentation checking role.
