Senior Equity Analyst
An independent research firm is seeking new equity analysts to lead new sectors
The Role
We are looking for analysts to launch new sector teams;
? Energy (Oil & Gas and Alternative)
? Capital Goods/ Engineering
? Construction
? Property
In an equity research industry undergoing profound structural changes in Europe and the US, in the words of The Economist; ?independent research boutiques are a better bet?.
The Candidate
? Ideally you will have 3+ years experience in equity research, or as a strategy consultant. Alternatively you may have buy side experience.
? Deep knowledge of your sector
? Given our Small and Mid Cap focus, relationships in this part of the market are useful, though not a prerequisite. Extensive experience of client interaction is essential.
? You will be an independent, challenging thinker, willing to take a strong, sometimes contrarian position.
? We are paid solely by institutional investors, so your motivation must be independent money making ideas for investors, not primary work.
Salary: £75-100k + Bonus
