The Company
Robert Half Financial Services Group are looking for a Nostro Investigations Clerk. The Nostro Investigations function carries out investigations in relation to the key cash reconciliations undertaken.
The Role
Main purpose of the role To investigate and effectively resolve issues arising from the settlement and reconciliation of cash accounts. To deliver an effective and efficient Controls service. Key responsibilities To perform daily investigations into issues that arise from the settlement of cash To ensure that all reconciliation breaks are investigated fully, accurately and in a timely manner. To raise interest and use of funds claims to reduce losses to the Bank. To assess the cost implication of investigation cases on the Banks position Key requirements A minimum of 1 years relevant experience within a top tier investment bank or financial institution Knowledge of Cash Management processes and the effect of Nostro movement on the Banks liquidity/ position. An understanding of the calculation of overdraft and credit interest, and justification of charges and costs to the Bank.
Salary & Benefits
Up to £40,000 and excellent benefits
