CAD Manager
CAD ManagerOverview CAD Manager required for one of the UKs largest construction firms. Working as part of the Projects Team the CAD Manager will be required to manage the provision of drawing office services and lead a team of CAD Engineers.General Duties: The CAD Manager will manage the preparation of 2D and 3D drawings in support of engineers and surveyors, carry out measured surveys as necessary, prepare drawings as workload demands ensuring timely responses to client requests and manage the production and protection of all drawings. The CAD Manager will plan and monitor staff, IT and other resource requirements determining the method and programme of works and monitor and control direct and agency staff.General recruitment criteria: - The CAD Manager will have previous CAD experience and a good working knowledge of IT - The CAD Manager will have knowledge of Basic Design, Standards and Specifications. - The CAD Manager will have an understanding of Contracts, Contract Document and Reporting - The CAD Manager will have knowledge of H and S issues, Quality Systems and environmental legislation - The CAD Manager will have experience of budgetary control.About us: BBL Group specialise in the recruitment of technical professionals within the Construction, Building Services, Public Sector, Civil and Property Sectors.
