Mechanical Project ManagerOverview Mechanical Project Manager required for one of the UKs largest construction firms. Based in the London the successful Mechanical Project Manager will be managing installation on a project to the clients satisfaction and to ensure the company makes a profit whilst ensuring a quality job.General Duties: The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring works are carried out within budget, controlling labour and material expenditure, pricing and invoicing the works and variations, managing sub-contractors, ensuring payments made on time. Planning the works within the program, ensuring a quality installation, monitoring outgoings and income.The Mechanical Project Manager will also be responsible for training and developing staff, liaising with the client to ensure client satisfaction during the project, producing monthly financial and status reports. General recruitment criteria: - The Mechanical Project Manager will have solid Project Management experience with a good knowledge of Mechanical procedures. - The Mechanical Project Manager will have knowledge and understanding of contracts, contract documentation, plant subcontractor selection and site administration. - The Mechanical Project Manager will have experience of construction methods and technology and Health and Safety legislation. - The Mechanical Project Manager will have knowledge of estimating techniques and financial management - The Mechanical Project Manager will have knowledge of procurement, plant rates, labour rates and wages agreements. - The Mechanical Project Manager will have a good working knowledge of CAD, MS Office and MS ProjectAbout us: BBL Group specialise in the recruitment of technical professionals within the Construction, Building Services, Public Sector, Civil and Property Sectors.
