Marketing Managers
Our Client based in Abridge , Essex is lookin go recruit a Marketing Manager to join their busy team.
The purpose of this role is to develop and coordinate a planned programme of innovative and effective marketing support for branded products.
Principal Objectives:
? In line with the agreed plan and budget provide a coordinated and effective level of marketing support for branded products covering web-site, trade exhibitions and PR.
? In conjunction with the National Accounts Controller develop coherent individual business plans for customers whilst also focusing on new channels of distribution that will enable the business to consistently maximize sales in line with agreed targets.
? Establish good working relationships with buyers and in conjunction with sales, address issues such as in store merchandising and product availability in order to realize the true potential of our product offering.
? Report regularly to the Commercial Director on market movements/significant shifts together with timely info on price competitiveness and competitor product and promotional activity.
? Contribute to development of product range in order to respectively achieve and maintain brand leadership in UK markets.
Nature and Scope:
This is a key management role as the business attempts to increase sales
The individual has to be able to combine proven marketing skills with a strong commercial awareness so that we make the right choices/decisions.
Whilst not leading the sales effort it is important for the job holder to contribute fully in meetings with customers and establish good relationships that enable direct lines of communication to be opened and developed further.
In conjunction with the focus on utility the job holder must ensure continued and appropriate marketing support for the brand and product range. As such it is a demanding and highly rewarding role with significant management responsibility.
