The Role
Reporting directly into a Big 4 trained Group FD, you will have a broad and varied role combining both technical and commercial skills. The Group FD is responsible for 4 other companies and needs this person to make the role their own. He will be there to support and assist but wants an individual who will thrive in an SME, where you can the impact the business. Production of the management accounts, budgeting & forecasting, stat accounts, analysis, planning and commercial input are all part and parcel of the role, along with the supervision of one member of staff. The majority of your interaction will be with non-finance staff. You will be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA but open to ACCA/CIMA profiles. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work in an autonomous manner are taken as given.
Salary & Benefits
Depending on experience, a base salary is being offered from £50k base to £65k along with excellent benefits and of course an opportunity to travel to some amazing places.
