What you will be doing
You will have a varied job pattern offering exposure to various key account functions. You will be expected to prepare trial balances and assist with the production of the management accounts. You will be responsible for other financial accounting duties including bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, purchase ledger and expenses (full procedure), intercompany and loan balance statements, petty cash and other projects on request. You will be reporting to the financial controller who will be able to offer guidance and support at this stage in your career. What they want
You should have a solid working knowledge of producing trial balances and some good exposure to management accounts. You will be a graduate (preferably maths or accounting) with a decent educational background. You should also be either studying towards a professional accounting qualification or aiming to start shortly. Insurance or financial services experience would be considered to be an advantage but not essential. All applications will be reviewed and considered.
Salary: £29000 - £30000 per annum
