Treasury Product Due Diligence for Global Markets
This global bank based in Canary Wharf is recruiting within their Global Markets Financial Control area for a product due diligence assistant manager with a focus on treasury products.
The due diligence process is a procedure that is followed to ensure that all business support areas consider the implications and requirements of new products, changes in business activities and structures to ensure that initiatives are implemented in a timely and controlled manner. This entails coordinating the Finance support functions (Product Control, Accounting Policy, Regulatory/Capital Management, Derivative Analytics and Finance Systems) during all stages of the due diligence process.
Within the role you will be responsible for
-Managing the due diligence process and two team members;
-Liaising with the business (Front Office / Management Office) and the Finance support areas (globally & locally) regarding the completion of the due diligence paper to support the new initiative
-Coordinating and attending pre due diligence meetings from a Finance perspective
-Ensure timely distribution of formally issued due diligence proposals;
-Providing a summary review for each proposal highlighting potential Finance issues
-Actively participate in the post implementation review and caveat Tracking process
-Continual development and enhancement of the due diligence process
-Providing support and cover to the Secretary of the Reputation Risk Committee.
To be successful within the role you must have strong treasury product knowledge gained ideally within a risk or product control environment although treasury accountants with strong product knowledge could still be considers. You may be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) and will have excellent communication skills.
In return you will receive a base salary of up to £65k + benefits + bonus. This position is available due to new head count so please apply ASAP.
