An Investment Bank requires an accountant to work in the London based finance team reporting to the head of management accounts.
To work as part of a team of three involved in all aspects of management accounting but with main responsibilities as follows:
·Preparation of management reports for cost centre managers on a monthly basis.
·Involvement in the budgeting process
·Production of income reports analysing income streams by division.
·Dealing with ad hoc queries from management.
·Analysis of middle office systems and reconciliation to back office systems.
·Operating controls and creating new controls to ensure integrity of reporting information.
·Improvements to management accounting reporting tools.
·Close liaison with financial accounting and the business areas
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA of equivalent) and have experience of working in the financial or professional services sectors.
