Business development manager, UK and European sales
My client provides a unique intelligence service about the mergers and acquisitions market. They specialise in providing forward-looking origination and deal flow opportunities integrated with a comprehensive deals database ? resulting in real revenues for clients. The intelligence delivery is tailored to meet their client's specific needs and they provide a complete and homogeneous picture of the mergers and acquisitions. Their clients include more than 400 major corporations in the investment banking, legal, private equity, acquisition finance, public relations and corporate markets.
They are looking to recruit a sales person for a mixture of account management and new business. This person will be responsible for selling to clients at board level and managing the full sales cycle. This person will target clients throughout the UK and Europe, managing the business of around 10-15 existing accounts, and building the client base on top of this. The successful candidate will be autonomous in their role and will be commercially responsible for their accounts.
This is an ideal opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales person looking for their 2nd or 3rd position in financial information sales. You are educated to degree level or equivalent. You thrive in a competitive 'names on board' environment with individual territories. You are a confident self-starter, capable of building good working relationships with team members and clients alike, with excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Ideally you have worked in, or sold to, investment banks before.

Salary: £35000 - £40000 per annum + 75K OTE uncapped
