Sports Events Co-ordinator is needed at a Leukaemia Charity in Central London. In this role you will effectively and successfully manage and develop one of the charity's bespoke flagship sporting events (a 10k run) in order to maximise funds raised from the composite event, whilst actively contributing to the overall success of the Sports Events and fundraising teams.
The main responsibilities for running the event include entries, mailings, logistics, set-up, de-rig, route planning, all necessary permits, health and safety requirements and all facilities. You will also contribute to the marketing and communications strategy in liaison with the Running & Triathlon Manager and marketing and press team.
We are looking for someone who has Sports Event Management experience, experience of communication through all media at all levels, with excellent customer service.
You must also be a car driver and be prepared to work weekends and unsociable hours, at times. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take their events career to the next level.
