Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for seeking out opportunities for the development of the housing association and establishing close relationships with key professionals within the Construction Industry.Duties will include: Formulating, recommending and implementing development policies to promote the housing associations' interests and engender good relations with its customers. Identifying development priorities and participating in relating Commercial initiatives.
Promoting the housing association as an effective and innovative provider of construction services. Researching new ideas and funding mechanisms. Maintaining an up to date knowledge of local and national Construction issues, policies and legislation changes. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities: Educated to Degree level or equivalent including membership of a relevant professional organisation. Adequate and proven experience in Business Development including partnership and joint venture contracts and land acquisition. Good working knowledge of schemes for financing development projects and familiarity with funding mechanisms in general. Research and negotiations skills.
