Associate Director- Metals and Mining
My client is a leading international bank and has a prominent status within the mining and metals project finance market. They are seeking a team orientated candidate with an excellent working knowledge of mining and resource finance to join their prestigious project finance metals and mining team.
The role involves all elements of the financing process right through from the deal origination, finance structuring and execution with a focus on technical due diligence. The role requires someone with good analytical and project skills and an understanding of the risks associated with mineral project development from pre-feasibility, through feasibility and production. Other skills necessary involve attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and in a fast moving environment. A successful candidate will also be able to add value across all areas of the business.
The successful applicant should have at least five years experience relevant experience in the mining finance sector or may also have experience working in the mineral exploration/mining industry or the equivalent. Ideally the candidate will have finance related qualifications, and may also have studied geology, metallurgy or mining engineering or the equivalent.
Remuneration will be very competitive and based on previous experience and ability to add value to the team.
