Exotic Equity Derivatives Valuations - Snr Manager
This Tier 1 investment bank based in Canary Wharf is currently looking for an exceptional individual to take a senior Manager position as a Valuation Controller. The role is within the Equity Derivative team and is part of the Financial Control Group responsible for all trade valuation issues. You will have a broad mandate for mark review for products across the Equity Derivative products including vanilla, exotic, emerging markets and hedge fund businesses. The Equity Derivatives business is rapidly expanding and will be an exciting but challenging area to work within, you will be closely involved in the expansion plan by developing new tools and valuation methodologies to aid price testing on a global scale. You must have very strong systems skills with VBA for excel an advantage as well as ideally having a strong quantitative education ? maths physics or engineering. Accountancy qualifications are desirable as is previous experience within a controlling function for equity derivatives and a good depth of knowledge in the derivatives field. This is a unique role offering contact with broad range of groups from business unit controllers to Front office whilst still offering exposure to a wide variety of financial instruments focussing on equity derivatives but also extending into distressed debt, private equity, credit and fixed income.
