The Company
An opportunity exists to join our clients newly formed high net worth division. The Irish high net worth sector is fast growing with clients who demand the highest levels of service and expertise. Our client will be investing across all asset classes for their private clients and this involves the construction of dedicated portfolios, the ability to identify market trends and to invest in a risk controlled manner.
The Role
The Job: reporting to the Head of Investment Strategy, this role involves the analysis of the major asset classes (equities, bonds, cash and alternatives) on a global basis and to provide analytical support to the investment team and respond to client enquires. Ô Key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: ·Reviewing and analysing major assets classes globally ·Analysing high frequency economic data ·Providing analytical support to the Investment Team ·Producing written reports on various asset markets ·Contributing to the development of our investment offering ·Managing internal databases The Person: The successful candidate will possess the following skills and competencies: ·A solid understanding of global investment markets ·Ô5 years experience working in a relevant environment (e.g. stockbrokers, investment house or financial institution) would be desirable ·Degree level education in business, economics or other financial discipline ·Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines ·Accuracy and attention to detail ·Good team player ·Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
