Civil Site Engineer - Essex
Salary and Location
£24,000 - £28,000 + benefits. Based Essex.
Role Description
The Civil Site Engineer will be working on various civil projects with a rail bias, including:
- Bridge reconstruction
- Platform extensions
- Station refurbishments
- Embankment stabilisations
- Line side structures
The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for reading designs, setting out, diary management and the completion of health and safety documentation. This role will require you to coordinate sub contractors and your own workforce, offering you the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills that will see you develop into a Civil Site Manager role. Working closely with the current Site Manager, the Civil Site Engineer will be given small work sections to manage, to enable development.
Required Experience
A civil engineering qualification is required and experience of working on heavy civils projects is essential. Setting out experience is required with 1-2 years site experience with a civil contractor. The Civil Site Engineer must have excellent communication skills to successfully manage the workforce on site.
