Procurement Officer
A council based in south west London are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer to work within the Contracts Unit with Adult & Community Services.
The primary responsibility will be to assist the teams with various procurement projects. It is expected that a considerable amount of time will be spent assisting the Project Manager for the Meals on Wheels Project to undertake various research and development work specific to that project.
Duties will also include taking a lead role in the tendering, award of contract and contract monitoring in relation to specific client groups within The Adult and Community Services Department.
You will also undertake contract monitoring of a portfolio of Contracts to ensure that providers are complying with the Service requirements of the contract. Monitoring any relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and ensuring that all internal key stakeholders are continually updated on provider performance.
Please only apply if you have releavnt procurement/contracts experience, you will also need a CRB check due to the nature of the department you will be working within.
