PROJECT MANAGER - DERBYSHIRE - FIT OUT (ACCOMODATION) - £40K PACKAGE

The Role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the project in accordance with the project plan and be the point of contact for both the main contractor and the client. You will be predominantly office based with site visits including a prestart site meeting with the main contractor and store management to confirm the scope and outline programme of works. The project programmes are demanding and the projects need a very hands on approach.
Our Client
Our client is a FTSE250 listed shopfitting manufacturer and turns over £115m pa. They have a workforce of 600 people dealing with major blue chip clients such as Marks & Spencer's and Boots.
The Individual
The Project Manager will have at least 3 years Project Management experience in a role of genuine responsibility which will have included site experience. As well as possessing good all round IT skills the Project Manager will need to learn the product portfolio and become an expert on it. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with both the store management and main contractor and will go the extra mile to ensure the project are delivered without flaw.
Ideally the Project Manager will be a university graduate and will have received specific Project Management training, possibly PRINCE2. The right person is as likely to come from outside the industry as from within.
The Project Manager will live within sensible commute of Derbyshire and have no more than 3 career moves in the last five years.
