Lead Strategy Manager
Our market leading energy client is actively looking to recruit a Lead Strategy Manager with immediate effect.
You will facilitate discussions and workshops for the senior business and IT leadership in order to drive updates to the IT Vision and Roadmap. This will involve occasional presentations to the IT Board. The Lead will be a member of the Business Transformation Directorate and play a leading role in this team.
You will be responsible for the definition of the general IT Strategy: describing the manner in which they design, build and operate IT solutions, both to fulfil the business requirements and to sure sound operational discipline. Definition of Specific Strategies: they will often require point pieces of strategy to be developed for specific business units or functional footprints. Setting the shape for the annual and 3 year planning processes: the client runs an annual planning process, which updates the rolling 3 year plan and works the detail of the subsequent year's annual plan. The Strategy Lead will define the overall shape for this plan.
Candidates will need to have a background in Systems Development. Be able to demonstrable full IT project life-cycle experience in a range of roles, from developer through business analyst through to lead architect or project manager. An appreciation of key concepts of technical architecture. Preferably coming from a trading and derivatives background.
