A rapidly growing major UK company with a powerful market position located in Canterbury, Kent are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and develops a small team of procurement professionals, to ensure the provision of a high class procurement service.
In this role you will be responsible for a varied portfolio focusing mostly on Building Construction products. You will be leading negotiations with major vendors and will be utilising your full skill set across Procurement category management and strategic sourcing. You will be developing and implementing operational and strategic plans for key categories under your remit in order to achieve set goals for the business.
You will be managing supplier relationships and monitoring contract and supplier performance. There is outstanding opportunity for career development within this large and professional procurement team and an outstanding package awaits the right candidate.
