This dynamic company has been spurred on by the excellent recent market conditions, which has resulted in a new opportunity for a Field Service Engineer. This role is primarily involved in the provision of planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response to cranes and associated materials handling equipment at various sites. There will also be opportunities to get involved in installation and commissioning, which will test the extent of your electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
The successful Field Service Engineer will have the following: solid multi-skilled (electrical and mechanical) engineering experience; good understanding of programmable logic controls (PLC) such as Siemens (S5/7), Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron etc; flexible approach to the day - to - day role; a good head for heights as there is a good deal of this involved. Dealing with clients, often in pressured environments, interpersonal skills and a friendly approach are key to this role.
