Electrician
Well known hospital in the city require electrical shift engineersWorking as part of the Electrical Maintenance Team, you will have a City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering, have a full working knowledge of the current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and have served a recognised apprenticeship. With a sound working knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, you must have a minimum of two years relevant work experience. You must be able to carry out a physically demanding roleProviding a comprehensive electrical maintenance service for the Trust, you will work as part of a small team of trades staff undertaking electrical maintenance work to ensure that agreed maintenance response levels are achieved. Work will involve Planned Preventative Maintenance and the diagnosing and repair on a wide range of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering installations. You may also be involved in the development of new installations therefore the ability to install electrical services to a high standard would be an advantage. You will also be required to interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications with supervision, to enter information on job sheets to enable the collection of data. Basic salary of £28kContinental shift, working 16 days/nights a month (12 hour shifts) Overtime, shift coverOT 1.5 availablePrevious experience in a hospital environment a must.
