Lead Mobile Engineer
D2see's Lead Mobile Engineer will work with D2see's technical and commercial teams to design and deliver brilliant mobile video services, which will be seen by hundreds of thousands of end users.
D2see is looking for a hard working and passionate engineer with a proven track record in the delivery of scalable device specific mobile propositions. The candidate will be market savvy with an understanding of existing propositions and the trends driving mobile technology in the UK and beyond.
The role will be hands on and the candidate will be expected to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the technology delivery roadmap, take a technical lead on the delivery of new products and drive commercial innovation through the identification of new technologies.
The candidate will also be expected to learn the existing areas of the business and will quickly take some responsibility on existing SIP based video and voice telephony products.
Responsibilities:
Working with commercial team to identify and agree their requirements.
Designing and developing I.P. based mobile video applications.
Mentoring and supporting other team members.
Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously whilst meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Java – Hibernate / JSF / Spring / J2ME / JDBC / JSP
Admin / Server – Jboss / Apache
Database - MySQL
Tools – Maven / Ant / Subversion
Client Side – xHTML / WML / Device Profiling
Client facing skills including presenting and leading client meetings
Excellent attention to detail
Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously in a fast-changing environment
