Immediate start for the right candidate.
A position in a spectacular City of London Academy, has become available for a very enthusiastic, highly motivated fitness instructor looking for part time work.
We are looking for a pro-active individual with excellent communication skills who will be required to actively supervise clients using the gym, motivate them and provide adequate guidelines and inductions for new members.
Shifts available at the moment are Tuesday and Wednesday 17:45 – 22:00, Friday 17:45 – 21:15. Possibly one additional shift will soon become available. The hourly rate is GBP7.58 including holiday pay. Work here is relaxed and thanks to our customers, is a real pleasure.
The gym is small but well equipped. We are very proud of the atmosphere we managed to create – customers know each other, instructors know members by their first names, people are very friendly and chatty. We have none of the anonymous treatment of big, corporate gyms and we want new instructor to continue with providing this type of service.
Previous experience in a gym environment and the ability to complete assessments and inductions is preferred and the ability to work independently is essential.
You will need to have a current enhanced CRB check (or be willing to obtain one), liability insurance for fitness instructor (or be willing to obtain this as well), REPs Level 2 or above and checkable references.
