A superb opportunity that would suit an experienced Leisure Manager or a driven individual who has experience in managing large events and function facilities. You must have real drive and passion with the ability to assess the demands of the local community and deliver on their service needs. We are looking for a manager who can come in and take over the running of the centre on an interim basis with the very real potential for permanent opportunities.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management and development of the whole site, including the sports provision; function and conference rooms and a number of small business units, ensuring it is operated in an efficient and effective way. You must have very strong man management skills and not be afraid to implement change where needed. Ideally you will have run a busy municipal leisure or Entertainment facility although we would also consider applicants from the private health and fitness market who have an interest and understanding of community leisure provision. Immediate start! Initially on a 3-6 month contract
