A growing West London internet financial services consultancy is looking for internet research consultants with internet experience and enthusiasm for all things online. We are looking for people who will provide our existing clients with quality work and can help us grow our business in the UK and abroad. You will have initiative, be able to work in a small team environment and want to learn more about the internet financial services sector.
Summary of the Role
To audit and monitor retail financial services websites on a regular basis to capture changes and new developments and where appropriate identify best practice. The research will then be analysed and the findings communicated to clients. The role would suit a recent web graduate or second jobber with research, financial services or online experience.
Initially, an intensive period of research and learning will be involved, however for the right candidate the role could lead to an account management/consultancy role or a web management/marketing position.
Core Tasks
* Carry out online research and conduct regular website audits
* Assist in the analysis of the research findings
* Create and contribute to client reports and presentations
* Communicate the market changes to clients
* Influence / educate colleagues on “new” online developments, web usability and/or online marketing techniques
* Contribute to company market intelligence and knowledge management initiatives
Other Tasks
* Contribute to product and service development
* Contribute to sales literature and support sales when necessary
* Train new staff where appropriate
Skills and Experience
* Proficient level of business English
* Dutch, German, Spanish and Swedish speakers encouraged to apply
* Must have tangible experience of the internet, online retail, web usability and/or online marketing techniques
* Familiarity / confidence with online banking and retail financial services products (eg. Current accounts, loans, credit cards, etc)
* Computer literate – good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products required
* Educated to degree level or relevant work experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: GBP18,000 to GBP24,000 depending on experience.
Based: West London
