Our client, a large, international recruitment company based in Central London, requires a permanent team secretary to support a growing team numbering 8 at the moment. This role is a great opportunity for someone to increase their administrative skills in a busy recruitment environment with room to progress.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global, corporate firm with offices throughout Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and where a transfer to an international office in future years, or progression into candidate management or recruitment consulting is a very strong possibility.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting team of 8 consultants
* Fielding phone calls for a busy and pressurised desk – including consultant's phones and taking messages and dealing with general queries
* Diary management when required; Organising consultant's diaries
* Liaising with clients
* Screening and liaising with candidates
* Setting up all correspondence for team including producing all candidate correspondence e.g. various contracts, confirmation letters, placement letters and rejection letters
* Preparing confidential correspondence
* Setting up and sending out large candidate and client mail shots
* Producing weekly activity reports, monthly management reports, quarterly reports; Extensive work with spreadsheets on Excel
* Producing presentations and organise charts on PowerPoint
* Organising and assisting with Candidate and Client Functions / Drinks Evenings
* General administration
* Loading new candidates onto database
* Dealing with candidate registration forms
* Updating candidate CV's
* Call candidates regarding vacancies
* Taking responsibility for ad hoc projects and requests
Skills and Experience:
* Typing 40+ wpm
* Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* May have 1-2 years office experience
* Strong organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
* High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Positive attitude and professional manner
* Able to work in a corporate environment
* Personable
* Confident
