Credit Controller 28,000 plus benefits
This leading international law firm is seeking an experienced credit controller to join their busy team. Working as part of a team of 5 you will be dealing with approx 350 invoices per month.
The role consists of dealing with queries from clients and other team members, following up overdue invoices by letter and email, negotiating payment with clients. Keeping accurate and up to date records detailing how payment is to be made and the timescale. Attending regular meetings with partners to discuss outstanding debts and how to arrange collection and the follow up on any previous commitments made during the course of meetings.
The ideal candidate must have a methodical approach to their workload, excellent communication/negotiation skills both written and verbal. Strong IT skills in Word, Excel and working knowledge of Elite or ARCS would be desirable. Demonstrated previous experience in credit control is a must – preferably in a corporate environment (either law or insurance).
Please note this is a permanent position, and applicants on a VISA must be eligible to work in the UK for a minimum of 4 years.
An enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude is essential.
