Executive Assistant - The Role
We operate in a busy, slightly chaotic, environment and want to bring order and focus to what we do. There is now an opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the team working directly with our Managing Director to assist his dealings with clients and to manage him while ensuring the highest levels of service delivery are achieved by other members of the team. Utilising MS Outlook and SAGE CRM to organise and delegate, typical tasks during a monthly cycle would include: processing the Managing Director's e-mail while he's out of the office; H.R. and payroll management and co-ordination; managing customer service, expectation and delivery; providing daily summary management information for the Managing Director; filing; scanning the Managing Director's meeting notes and co-ordinating the processing of follow up actions; organising quarterly team activities; maintaining the company's contact database in MS Outlook; credit control; office management; creating payment files; helping to manage the Managing Director's diary; and generally ensuring the smooth running of the head office.
Executive Assistant – The Candidate
You WILL relish a challenge and be used to bringing calm and order to a hectic environment due to your highly organised and fastidious personality. Used to working in a small team you will be a fantastic communicator, ideally a “swan” who appears graceful on the surface but is highly active and effective behind the scenes in order to maintain good order and service delivery to our clients. You will be used to operating in a high pressure, results focussed and deadline driven environment utilising technology, competent in MS Outlook including Tasks, and not afraid of communicating bad news as well as good. You are someone who wants to make a difference, and has a track record of having done so in a similar environment to that in which we operate.
Based at our Borehamwood office the basic salary range is GBP 18K - GBP 25K with a GBP 3K bonus which is based on delivering KPI's and paid quarterly. We offer 4 weeks holiday per year, rising to 6 with service, and are flexible as far as hours are concerned as long as the work gets done.
