Professional canvas specialist with years of experience looking for freelance canvas stretching jobs. Specialized in stretching all types of fabrics from linens and cottons to polyesters etc. including also primed canvas. I am also specialized in restretching artwork (paintings, prints) onto new stretchers. In case you are more interested in learning the skill yourself, I can provide training sessions for both individuals and small groups.
Please get in contact for more details and quotations. Typical hourly rate is GBP50 inluding travel. Most stretching jobs can be done from start to finish easily within this time. I have all the tools needed and preferred working hours are evenings and weekends. For a training session I will usually charge GBP150, and this is for a four hour session. For the training, I will bring samples of different types of fabrics (primed and unprimed), and I will explain in detail the attributes of all these materials, how to properly use all the tools available and also how to approach restretching paintings and prints.
