Web Master Developer Python, Django, Ubuntu

A highly innovative on-line learning community with students in 45 countries is seeking a talented webdeveloper to join us. The role is highly demanding with great potential forfuture growth. You would join initially as Web Master/developer but thereis considerable opportunity to grow into a management role with the company. The right candidate will have solid coding abilities, broad general ITknowledge and the ability to develop new skills rapidly. Experience with MMObased environments is a definite advantage. You will be reporting to the Operations Director and working with education and customer relations staff.
Initial duties will be Website related and include. * Maintaining current Website and Web Servers. * Managing development cycle for new features and fixes. * Designing & developing new features and making changes to the site. * Coding of in house systems. * Integration of in-house systems. * Coordinating testing.
Additional duties include. * Designing and developing/deploying new systems and infrastructure. * Network admin and support. * Second Life development. * Working with educationaland customer service staff to develop/improve products and services.
The role will grow andchange with the company. Our Web systems use Ubuntu, MYSQL, Django, Python, small elements are coded in other languages.
Salary 26k +bonus
