1997 metallic blue mercedes e280 elegance semi automatic - G
I am selling due to bereavement my husband died in october last year. I want to keep his car and sell mine as I really cannot afford to keep two cars. I have owned this Mercedes E280 for nearly 4 years and have kept it in sound mechanical condition. it is semi auto, 4 dr Saloon alloys, PAS, c/l, a/c, e/w, sport mode, alarm/immob, Alpine face off, cd/radio/equaliser, spare wheel, jack, MOT sept.08 tax march 08 has done just over 139,000 miles aparently thats no problems for these cars been told they are work horses. i have old receipts for work carried out such as exhaust/cat converters, engine flush, new automatic gearbox was install about 18mths ago costing over GBP1100.00, front suspension, shock, mini service done Sept 07, full service should have been done about 3 months ago. still using car to take kids to school. it starts first time and there are no oil, water leaks, no banging or cluttering everything works as it should.The body work could do with some atention, paint stripping on bumper, some dulling of paint work but no rust. the grey leather interior is in good condition would benefit from a clean, driver seat has some wear but no rips, vanity mirror cracked & wing mirror on passenger side cracked, slight dent to boot, i have some service history, original Merc user manual, log book also present, this is a safe & comfortable, safe car test drive/inspections welcome. you csn email me for more pictures
