***Interim Finance Manager***
Global Media Company requires Interim Finance Manager urgently. My client is flexible regarding whether this role remains temporary or moves into a permanent role within the next 3 months.
Duties/ Skills Required:
· Management of production and filing of Annual Statutory Accounts ensuing compliance to UKGAAP and maintaining accuracy around key provisions.
· Management of the year end audit process
· Management of the taxation reporting and various taxation issues including stamp duty, VAT and CT.
· Proactively seek and implement improvements to the efficiency, cost effectiveness and controls within the department, ensuring approval of line manager prior to effecting any changes
· To ensure accurate processing and authorizing for all transactions within area of control – including AP, stock accounting and store bankings
· To manage, review and report on Balance Sheet and supplier recs as per agreed timescales
· To manage the cashflow reporting for creditors to Group Accounting
· To maintain strong working relationship with the Commercial departments.
· Set targets and monitor all team performance.
The Successful Candidate:
· Qualified ACA/CIMA
· Retail experience would be useful
· Demonstrable systems experience: including systems improvements/implementation
· Spreadsheet skills – at least intermediate level
· Ability to quickly understand commercial ramifications
· Balance Sheet Reconciliation knowledge
· P&L; knowledge
· Team Leadership experience
