Handyman London - Zone 1 15,000 to 20,000 Temp to perm

My client, a leading provider of serviced apartments in central London, has an immediate requirement for a maintenance handyman to join them on a temporary to permanent contract.
The role will include carrying out various duties including minor repairs and general maintenance to a high and professional standard promptly, efficiently and safely.
MAIN DUTIES
Daily
Collect any mail and take to office
Distribute guests' post
Water and tidy window boxes
Deliver guests laundry
Assist with any arrivals with regard to luggage etc
Purchase shopping and any goods as directed by the office
Take mail to post box before leaving
Remove rubbish to Wigmore Street at end of day – from 4.10pm
Check in with the office on a regular basis to collect any work dockets
Assist maids as requested, (to turn mattress, move furniture etc)
Clean apartment carpets as directed by Housekeeper
Painting as directed by Housekeeper
Clean shoes as required by guests
Carry and place bed boards to apartments when required
Replace light bulbs when required
Replace tap washers/valves when required
Replace shower valves etc when required
Every Other Day
Check all balconies and clear stains etc
Check both entrances and lifts to ensure working, clean doors and vacuum tread
Wash down Green Garden House entrance door including step
Weekly
Wash down balconies and window sills (inc behind windows boxes) and front doors
Check all apartments for spare light bulbs and replace
Check boiler houses
Check all smoke alarms in apartments
Monthly
Check all bathrooms for leaks, regrouting and ceilings for painting
Clean all shower heads and descale if necessary
Check all TVs are correctly tuned in to correct channels
Check and replace where necessary cooker filters
Clean out light shades in bathrooms
Check all windows for cracked panes and repair as necessary
Check all carpets and spot clean if necessary, as directed by Housekeeper
Check and clean all air-conditioning filters in apartments
6 Months
Paint entrance door areas and stair wells in SCH and GGH
Varnish door steps to apartments
Paint outside windows to each apartment
Paint apartment doors as required
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience of working in a hotel, serviced apartments or hospital environment [Essential]
- Good communication skills and a high degree of personal presentation [Essential]
- Basic Plumbing skills [Essential]
- Basic Electrical skills [Essential]
- Basic Decorating skills [Essential]
As this person will be recruited for on a temporary to permanent basis it is preferred that any applicants are immediately available.
