It drives perfectly as you would expect from a Mercedes,its really nippy and the semi automatic gearbox is really clever and so smooth is untrue. It works like a normal manual gearbox but you dont use a clutch, hence you only have two pedals as you would with a automatic gearbox. very popular in these little super mini's.
Being the 1.6 model it comes within the low tax bracket and cheap insurance.

6. All the toolkit is present, including the wheel stop, both tyre car restraints, screwdriver, wrench & spanner
Mechanics, reliability and electrics
· It does what all well looked after MERCEDESs do, turn over for 2 seconds then immediately fire up without any touch of the accelerator and tick away … each & every time I've started it.
· Both cooling fans work – yes the obvious one inside the engine bay but there's also one behind the front radiator… often overlooked.
· Warms up quickly & then the thermostat always stays 0.01 degrees below the horizontal come rain, snow or hot sunshine… just as it should be and shows there are no problems with the cooling system.
· All headlamps, indicators, wipers, washers, blower (heater's a real furnace), cigarette lighter, radio, rear heated window, alarm … errrr, what else is there… all work….. it's a MERCEDES, what do u expect?.
· The handbrake does NOT bind, operating smoothly & firmly, believe me this car is A1 condition...
· There drop links are in good order
