This is a wonderful red Honda Civic 1.4i, now unused since I don't need a car in London. I just hadn't gotten round to trying to sell it until now! It's parked at my parents' place in Milton Keynes and is ready to take away on the day for cash only.
It's a 5 gear, manual, 5 door hatchback with the following:
- Remote control central locking
- Tilt/slide Sunroof
- Airbags
- Seatbelts all round
- Immobiliser
- Electric front windows
- Electric, heated, adjustable mirrors
- Good quality MP3 CD player and original factory fitted Radio/Cassette (if I can find it and if you really want it!)
- ABS
- Power steering
The good points about it are:
- It has *never* broken down on me having driven it for about seven years. Incredibly reliable
- Previous owner was in the family. Only one owner before that
- Great acceleration
- It's never been crashed! I've treated it well
- Good service history (not 100% complete, but good for the last few years)
- Heated wing mirrors are amazing
- New battery
- A very cool 'XTC' numberplate
- Survived a 3000 mile tour of England (in one month) with absolutely no problems just before I stopped using it
The bad points about it are:
- It has no MOT (expired June 2007). I just never bothered renewing it as I wasn't going to drive it any more. I'm not sure what it would need to get through its MOT, but it survived the trip above, so it's clearly in a good condition!
- A minor dent (really is minor)
- Occasional, minor scratches
- Driver wing mirror hanging off (still attached by fully working electrics though)
