Peugeot 406 1.8 Lx - GBP450
1996 N-reg Peugeot 406 1.8 LX (16 valve) Cherry Red.
6 months MOT, tax until end of March.
Electric front windows, power steering, electric sun roof, air conditioning, 6 speaker CD player.
Maintainence carried out within the last 6 months includes new drop links on front roll, two brand new tyres on the front, new ignition coil pack (cost GBP160), new windscreen wipers, new thermostat. Cam belt changed at 70000 miles.
The car drives very well, a solid reliable car. Pretty good fuel economy (30-35 mpg). The interior is fine apart from a cigarette burn on the drivers seat. The body work has a few small dents but absolutly no rust and is completely solid. There is one problem with the speedometer, recently this has gone wrong and works intermittantly. Because of this I cannot state the exact mileage but it is approximately 115000 miles (give or take 1000 miles).
This has been my vehicle for daily use for just over 2 years and has been completely reliable. I am selling the vehicle as I have bought a transit van and do not need the car any more.
