My client, which was established in the 1950s, is the market leader in tourist information and guidance for London. It employs over 200 staff in stunning offices in London that over look the River Thames. It works in partnership with various football clubs, media and cultural organisations and is working towards the 2010 Olympics. The reason for the vacancy is to cover a maternity leave which could go permanent. You will join the finance team which is busy and dynamic.
Your main responsibilities will include:
(i) (i) Raising Sales Ledger invoices
(ii) (ii) Daily banking
(iii) (iii) Credit notes
(iv) (iv) Matching, batching coding Purchase Ledger invoices
(v) (v) Assisting in payment runs
(vi) (vi) Processing foreign payments
(vii) (vii) Assisting the Financial Controller with the monitoring of budgets
(viii) (viii) Ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will be immediately available; you will have experience of both sides of the ledger, both accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will have a positive ‘can do' attitude and flexible in your approach. Being part of a team is key here and prioritising will assist you with meeting deadlines.
