Architects proficient using Vectorworks required for sustain
I am working on behalf of a down to earth architectural practice based in West London who are hoping to employ an Architect as soon as they find the right person. The practice was originally started in 1973 and has now grown to become a successful, well managed office, currently totalling 20 staff.
The practice has worked extensively in the residential, educational, commercial and conservation sectors. Experience in all sectors includes new build schemes and both refurbishment and alterations of existing properties, ranging in site and scale from GBP50K to GBP25 million.
The Directors treat improvement to the environment, design for energy conservation, low running costs and sustainability as high priorities. With this in mind they wish to find an Architect with similar values to work on London based social housing projects.
You should ideally be Part III Qualified in the UK, or equivalent from abroad, and have 3 years post qualification experience. The projects will offer the successful candidate some good potential for design as the projects are starting from the ealy feasability stage, leading up to planning applications in Spring.
Proficiency using Vectorworks would be preferred although it is not a necessity.
