Greek Private Lessons
Hi there,
My name is Dimos, I am a Greek native speaker having a first Degree in Ancient and Modern Greek and Literature, and a Master's one in Special (Educational) Needs.
Last year I was given the chance to teach Modern Greek as a foreing language in the Greek community School of Nottingham and I found it very interesting. The teaching aid that I use is a textbook called 'Modern Greek for Foreigners' which was desiged by the School of Modern Greek that is founded by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Despite this, I am willing to create my own material and exersises bearing in mind the interests and needs that every student may have.
Generally, I enjoy the process of teaching and it would be great pleasure for me to teach my mother tongue to individuals of Greek origin as well as to foreign people who wish to familiarise, through the Greek language, with Greece and its culture.
