We are a young, fast growing interior design company based in Notting hill. We operate through an office in London and have an international roster of bespoke projects that we manage discreetly for an exclusive client base. Our business consists of Operations and Design; Operations includes the financial and general support function for Design. We are looking for a very energetic and entrepreneurial candidate with a very specific skill set and a certain amount of flair. After a 6 month trial the right candidate will be expected to grow into a professional business executive that can lead and grow Operations for the next decade.
The candidate must be well organized, hard working, creative and meticulous, and should possess very good communication skills, be a team player and a good motivator. You will start at the bottom. Initially, duties will include bookkeeping, preparation of regular management, cash flow, payroll, credit control, updating sales & purchases ledger, stock accounting and general accounts administration. After the first 6 months, the right candidate will be expected to get involved in assisting and supporting the financial director and design director with financial analysis, forecasting, shaping of Operations and general long term growth initiatives for the business. After 12 months the right candidate could head up Operations.
CIMA or ACCA – Part or Qualified with strong experience of final accounts
Quickbooks conversant, advanced Excel, comfortable with Apple, good IT and general software knowledge.
Valid passport and be entitled to full time, long term employment in the UK
Must have international travel experience.
Some legal background will be a plus.
Multilingual a plus
Media/art/fashion/design background a plus
Good negotiating skills a plus
Salary and Bonus: GBP 15,000.00 - 25,000.00 with up to 100% bonus.
