Business development assistant


Plan Personnel (KingsCross) are activley seeking a Business Development Assistant for Maternity Cover to commence after Easter.
Working day will be 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Fri
Main Aim:
To ensure that new business opportunities are sourced and secured to contribute to the employment business meeting its sales, growth and expansion targets.
Key Tasks
1. Follow up all new business opportunities given by the General Operations Manager through sales calls to obtain an invite to a preferred supplier list or a sales appointment for the Senior Sales Representative.
2. Follow a sales programme to ensure all potential customers are contacted to meet their expected date of review.
3. Develop the information submitted to potential customers to continuously improve the quality of the submissions
4. Follow up all submissions of information and record all feedback obtain so it can be utilized for any future submissions.
5. Establish and build relationships with potential customers.
6. Identify new business opportunities.
7. Liaise with operations managers to obtain market information
8. Research the market to obtain competitor information to assist in pricing and tender submissions
9. Coordinate the information received from the operations teams, marketing and any other research prior to the pricing and submission of a tender.
10. Complete all questionnaires and tender documents accurately ensuring they are well presented and to the client's specification.
11. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for sales or operations where required.
12. Prepare contract memos or manuals for newly awarded contracts to ensure all the operations teams understand the requirements of the contract.
13. Maintain a database of all sales activity
